Save the Sea Turtle
The Problem
Sea turtles are some of the ocean’s most unique and important animals. The seven species of sea turtles inhabit every ocean and nest in more than 100 countries. They play valuable roles in ocean habitats but six of the seven species of sea turtles are threatened or endangered due to human-caused threats.
The Goal
We're a non-profit organization that protects sea turtles through conservation travel and volunteer tours, our education programs, and by promoting inclusivity in the sea turtle community.
Wireframe & Low-Fi
Impact
Users shared that the app was very engaging and easy to use. They were happy to have this opportunity to adopt turtles in a easy and time consuming way. One quote from peer feedback is: that “the app is very inspiring and teach us how to take care of endangered turtles”.
What I learned
Design for social good was fascinating journey, I learnt so much about marine live and how important it is for our ecosystem. Also, I think the first part of the process is crucial in ending with a good product. Getting down the ideation phase and knowing what you want to address is highly important in the process.

The designs for screen size variation included mobile, tablet, and desktop. I optimized the designs to fit specific user needs of each device and screen size.
